Consulting and research

We are specialists in sustainability and life cycle approaches. We work for finding better, more sustainable solutions, and help our clients to better understand present impacts, and to initiate and maintain a positive change - all founded by a solid background of data analysis, broad expertise in all aspects of life cycle analysis, and by using convenient, suitable Öffnet einen internen Link im aktuellen Fenstersoftware that we take either 'from the shelf' when available, or develop newly.

We take actively part and lead scientific, international working groups for Life Cycle Assessment, Life Cycle Costing, and social Life Cycle Assessment, for sheer interest, for - sometimes - spearheading scientific and practical development, and not the least, for letting our clients and practical work benefit from recent developments in the international community and in businesses worldwide.

Tasks that we offer include:

  • Life Cycle Analysis case studies: (Environmental) Life Cycle Assessment, Life Cycle Costing, social Life Cycle Assessment, footprint studies, and combinations, including quality assurance for these studies, and critical review according to ISO 14040 & 14044 for Life Cycle Assessments
  • Data collection and management: challenge us for smart data strategies beyond the 'ask and pay one expert to send an obfuscated, intransparent figure or data set that works only in one special commercial software'
  • 'towards sustainability': Rather than starting with a specific case, it makes often sense to start from a birds view perspective, and analyse in respect to sustainability: What are your products; what are your processes, and how does your supply chain look like? How can you interact with and influence your suppliers? What do users do with your products? Considering also recent and upcoming developments in legislation (national, and international) and among your competitors and clients. And overall: Should you move, what are your options? It is surprising how often this analysis clarifies and helps setting next steps and priorities.
